Never odd or eveN

This project was heavily inspired by album art that a friend of mine made for my first EP a long time ago. The idea of a structure having repeated mirrored textures like in that image led me to focus on a repeating mirrored rhythm section with an over arching glassy synth pad to give it a crystalline feel. The track is composed of multiple iterations of musical palindromes with one large repeat in the center at the core of the "crystal".

I wanted the name and the total run time to be related to the theme as well, hence the run time being 1:21 and being named Never odd or eveN.  I wanted to evoke a conflicting feeling of predictability while also feeling as if you never quite have your footing. Oscillating between 1 and 2, never odd or even.
